After creating several concert videos for Neil Peart and Rush, we were asked to be part of a re-design of Neil’s elaborate drumset and riser.

We contributed both technically, doing an extensive 3D previsualization of his current “Time Machine” drumset, and creatively by coming up with original hardware designs for the riser and various parts of Neil’s kit.

In the hands of the magicians at DW drums, the kit evolved into Neil’s playable work of art. We supervised the complex fabrication of the ocatagonal drum riser at Tech Work Studios, and created all visuals that play in the riser’s video ‘portholes’.
